I get a break
Ha yeah right, just as I wrote that Keith called me in to "help" feed Emily... PLEASE, I just told him last night he needed to help me more with the baby. Help meaning actual help. Not just leaning over the crib saying she is cute or holding her two minutes.
Ahhh, but alas, I took a shower today and did my hair while he watched her, I should be grateful right? Gez, I mean that was my break right? I was able to clean myself and brush my teeth I should be on top of the world...
Anyway, Poor Em has been having gas and last night her tummy was bothering her. She ate 2 ounces then after an hour ate two more. Then her booty exploded and she ate 4 more... Finally sleep came for both of us until around 4... I actually let her sleep for 4 hours figuring with all that milk in her she would be okay the extra hour. What do I know? She still woke up screaming... Why do babies wake up screaming? Is my baby just that grumpy? I think so... she is always in a bad mood. The books say she is suppose to be smiling by now (going by if she was full term), and "squealing" with joy. Ahhh I don't think her grunting counts as that... "They" also say she should be focused on Mommy by now... Nope not that either. You worry about some odd things when you have a baby... Like Poop... I never worried about poop so much before in my life. Not enough, too much, too runny, bad color... She pooped three times today and I had to make myself not call the Doctor.
Well, I hear the little one waking up... Until later
