Time to make the Donuts
I woke up this morning to the sound of my old cat puking on the bed.... *Sigh*... I wanted to clean the bedding anyway today, guess I really am now.
The Beach has been fun the past couple of days. The very first time we brought Em she screamed and cried because the breaking of the waves scared her... Yesterday she was crawling into the water by herself (not really, she made the attempt, I didn't like her go in the water by herself people), and laughing when the waves hit her in the face. She is my brave little girl! Mommy on the other hand was trying not to have a panic attack each time I couldn't see my feet... God Forbid something should brush up against them, I might have passed out. So, when Daddy comes home he can take her out and Mommy can breath like normal person laying in the sand. Speaking of Daddy, he comes home tomorrow night. I need to get going and clean a bit so it doesn't look like I have lived like a bum this whole time! This short time that he is going to be home is going to be a whirlwind. First, the very next day we have friends coming to see Keith before he goes to Iraq. They will be here for a couple of days... Then our other set of friends will be here on the first... These are our friends that are moving here... It is going to be awesome having them here! Of course her hubby is going to Iraq with Keith so her and I will practically be living together. It is so funny because she thinks and acts like Keith and I think and act like her hubby... I guess that is why we all get along so well!
Anyway, after that we leave for NY to visit with our parents, brother, sister, and their families. We will be there for almost three weeks. Of course first comes the 13 hour drive there... Not fun people, not fun. Especially with a year old who is going through a whining and screaming stage and two dogs. Maybe I will just pop some tylenol PM and let Keith deal with it, that is fair right? LOL... Once we get there we will have fun, it is never relaxing though. Everyone makes plans, we go back and forth to each family, always making sure the baby and dogs are not getting into things they shouldn't, and so on. It is hectic, always... But a fun hectic and we look forward to it everytime. I told Keith that when he comes back from Iraq that him, Emmy, and I all need to take a family vacation together. Keith and I have never gone on vacation or even a honeymoon for that matter and it will be 11 years of marriage this year. We ALWAYS go to NY. I am not complaining about that but I think when he comes back we really need to all just get away as a family and have some fun. It will also give Keith and Emmy some time to bond together as well. I don't know where we are going but I have a few places in mind... Hawaii, California, Walt Disney World... If I know my husband he is routing for Disney... "They" say it cost 500 bucks a day to stay there.... I really don't care, I just want all of us to have fun together. It will give us something to look forward to while he is gone.
Today is garage sale morning...Looks like I will be heading out late as Emmy is still sleeping. The beach has been wearing her out. Well, I am going to go get ready and hopefully she will be waking up soon. Talk to you later people...
