The Walk

For those of you new to my Blog (If I still have any readers out there!), if you don't already know my daughter was born 9 weeks premature. She was only two pounds at birth and stayed in the NICU for 6 weeks.
Because of modern technology, the doctor and staff at San Angelo Community Hospital, and the March of Dimes... (and of course Prayers and faith) Emmy is here today. Her birth affected everyone in our family. It was a difficult and scary time for us all. I think everyone in my family has held that with them to some degree.
This is the time of year when the March of Dimes does their annual walk. My sister emailed me and said she was walking in Emily's behalf. You have no idea how much that means to me. Not only is she doing it for Em but she is helping so many families who have to go through a premature birth. It is a road that nobody should have to follow and with the donations to the March of Dimes hopefully there will not only be further advancement in the technology to help babies but to find the answers and put an end to prematurity.
If you would like to help raise money for the March of Dimes here is my sister's link...

Thank you in advance and to my sister... Thank for this gift. Thank you for being my sister and thank you for your love and support that you have shown Em... You are an awesome Aunt.
