Shhhhh, the baby is sleeping!
Holy Mary Mother of God... People are actually reading my Blog! I admit that I am totally addicted to Blogging, whether it is reading somebody elses, adding things to my template, or writing. I know there are a ton of other Blogs to read and it is nice that you all have fit me into your busy lives!
So, Em is napping... Yeah! She was only up for two hours before it was time to go back to sleep. I guess that trip to Best Buy last night did her in. Heaven forbid if she is off her schedule... I wouldn't say though that her schedule is as important as it was but her sleep cycle is! Anyway, you would think I would use my time wisely and take a shower and brush my teeth, I mean it is only 11 in the morning! Instead I decided to sit here with more coffee and be a bum. It doesn't happen too often people so it is nice when it does. For some reason during the week I feel the need to not sit still ever. Even when Em is napping I am always on the go... BUT today is Friday and I consider the weekend my days off as well... I do laundry and take care of Em, that is about it! I guess I know Keith has plans to Field Day (Clean, for all of you who don't speak Marine Corps), because we are getting the TV on Sunday... I don't get it myself, it isn't like the TV will refuse to stay in a messy home... It is a TV, it doesn't think, so why are we cleaning for it's arrival?... Whatever, once something is in Keith's brain it is staying there... So anyway, my point is that I am taking a break today because tomorrow I know we will be busting ass... Oh yeah and the lack of sleep thing is making me tired as well.
Speaking of plans... how pissed am I that the new Star Wars is out and I haven't seen it yet? Umm, VERY!! I am a Star Wars freak, I have been since I was a Weee little thing... So much so I was devestated by this Line "Luke, I am your Father"... It took a long time for me to recover from that... I am SERIOUS!!! So, maybe Keith might be able to talk me into letting Jen and CJ watch Em if they can... I am so bad still with leaving Em. I know, get over it....
STUPID STUPID HELICOPTORS AND JETS....I swear the pilots know exactly when Em is going down for nap... It seems everytime she tries to sleep there is a few flying over housing. Why oh why must they fly that low over our housing area when they have all that sky to fly in? I get so mad and frustrated that I swear if I saw some guy with some shiney little metal things on his Cammie Collar I would have the gall to chew his ass. It is sooooo frustrating!! AND then to top it off when I do complain Keith quotes the base's motto...."Pardon the noise, it's the sound of freedom"... Gezzz, I have lived on one other base ( I have lived out in town for other duty stations), where there was just Jets flying and YES it was very very loud all of the time...BUT I didn't have a baby then. Not that the world rotates around me by any means but you know some of these pilots have families so you would think they would think of these things themselves. You look at things a lot differently when you have a kid to take care of. When your kid is tired and doesn't feel well you want them to sleep so they are better.. So, when you got this big o'l Cobra or 46 flying overhead your tree tops and it is making your house shake and the baby can't sleep, you tend to get pissed!
Ahhh, thanks for letting Vent... I feel better... So, I am going to go. Maybe actually sit on my couch and not on the floor and watch some TV without puppets jumping around or Guys in colored shirts singing about a Big Green Dinosaur.
