First Day of School
Em started her first day of Preschool. I think Keith was more nervous than either Em or myself! Anyway, she did really well. Keith and I sort of snuck out of the room before she noticed that we were gone. Her teacher gave her a little buddy to help her out. I know she is going to learn how to be a lot more independent there. It was so strange seeing her in a real classroom setting. She JUST turned 3 and the other kids are an older 4. She is so small compared to all of them! I know though that this is best for her. Helping her feel socially comfortable at an early age will encourage her to do better at school once she really does start. I don't want her to be one of those kids who doesn't have any friends or doesn't do well in school because she is afraid to talk. Not to mention that the teachers are helping me with the potty training! Hehe, that is always a plus!
Anyway, my little girl is growing up! She sure is a beauty isn't she? And I am not the only one that thinks so! When we were waiting outside to go to school the second day there were four boys waiting as well and they were all just staring at Emily. My neighbors little boys do the same thing. They will be playing and going crazy and then come to a dead stop and just stare at Emily. It's pretty funny actually, well, now it is... not so much when she will be a teenager. Then I am going to have to have Keith kick some ass!! Hehe...
Well, it's time for me to get ready to go ride! Later gators....
