Checking In
Well people, it is almost time for us to head back home to North Carolina. Time with family always seems to go by so quickly. We leave on Saturday morning, not sure if we are going to stop overnight again. I would like to but we will see how it goes. Anyway, I have mixed feeling about going back. On one hand it will be great being home surrounded by our own things, have our own bed, have all of Em's things... Then again it is always hard saying goodbye to family. It sucks, I hate it. Then of course when we get back it will be just a few days before Keith leaves for Iraq. I am trying to stay strong.... Trying being the key word here. The unknown is what scares me... not for me of course but for him.
Em is walking from one room to another now. I can't believe it.... she just decided out of the blue that she was going to do it. I am glad that Keith can see her first steps before he leaves, I know I would want to. She has started to get a feel for the terrible twos already. Grrreat.... Can you say Temper tantrums? She is really good at them!! Let's just say those preemie lungs are working really well, not to worry...
Well, I just wanted to check in. I will get back in the groove of Blogging once we are home again. I miss you all... Until later.
