Shut up

I am not an American Idol wanna be, I am not one of these people that thinks they can carry a tune but at the very least I think I can sing the "ABC's" without glass shattering. My daughter however might disagree. Most children like it when their mother sings to them. The other day Em was outside playing and she took a break in my lap so I decided to break out into the "ABC's". By the time I got to the letter "E" Emily was crying and taking her fingers and trying to close my mouth up. I told her to stop being a drama queen, that I couldn't be THAT bad and continued to try and finish the song. She then got really upset and jumped off my lap and ran into the house screaming as if she was on fire. Then last night I decided to give it a try again... we were on the couch together, I again broke out into the "ABC's" again and she started to whine... then she got nose to nose with me and began rubbing her forehead over my mouth to try and shut my up. What the hell people? I am really not that bad, I swear... she is just a major Drama Queen.
Once in awhile while Em is watching her "shows" I feel the need to look up on the internet various things about that particular show. I have searched for the Doodlebops unmasked, looked up heated debates about Joe and Steve from Blue's Clues, Read message boards about the Wiggles, tried to figure out why on Oobie they only use hands and not puppets, and looked at pictures on how they make Lazytown.... Yes people, my brain is truly rotting away... But anyway, I was watching Little Bear the other morning with Em of course, as I don't usually watch it on my own, when I got to thinking. Do you think...
1. The story is really about Little Bear as we see it... as a Bear playing with a little girl and all these animals
2. or is Emily making this shit up in her head? Are we seeing a played out version of her playing with her stuffed animals?
3. Or do you think I have way too much time on my hands and who really gives a shit?

So, that is all for now... Carry On.
