The Battle was Won BUT the war was not over
So I thought Em was doing better then right before her Grandmother and Grandfather came to visit she got hit with another fever... this time it went to 103... Back to the Doc's we went. I was starting to panick thinking she had something major wrong with her like a parasite or something, what do I know? Strange things can happen can't they? Well here it is Friday and she hasn't had a fever for a couple of days now. THANK GOD! She is still very stuffy and has a hard time sleeping at night because of it. She is eating again... for awhile she would vomit when she ate, not great when your kid hasn't put on weight in month. It seems things are getting better though.
Speaking of eating... Em loves Mac and Cheese. She ate a crap load of it last night before she went to bed. I guess most kids do love it, She also loves French Fries. Grandma gave her a lot of that when she was here. I think Em is liking table food over the baby stuff... if she had more teeth she would be able to eat more! LOL
Speaking of teeth.... SHE HAS ONE! Okay, so it is not fully out of the gums yet but it is poking it's way through... yeah, no dentures for Emmy! No more gummy smiles soon, I love that little gummy smile, I will miss it so!
So other than dealing with the wicked viral infection and ear infection... she has been pretty good... still wanting to play. Grandma and Grandpa called her a wiggle worm... she refuses to sit still. I am going to be in trouble once she starts walking. She is wanting to pull herself up now so it won't be long before she is taking her first steps... Better get those baby gates soon!!!
Well, we are actually going to leave the house today and go out with Keith, imagine that... us leaving the house!! Yeah us! I have to say that we did go out a bit when Grandma and Grandpa were here. Em is just not happy staying in the house for too long. She wants to get out, can't say I blame her. OH! Talk about going out.. Grandma and Grandpa got her a new swing for her Birthday... She is going to LOVE it...
