Doing the Butt
Life is a changeing quickly my friends!! Emily is doing new stuff just about every day now... Just a couple of days ago she started crawling all over the house wanting to explore everything. In turn, Mommy has had zero chances to sit!! I did that for about two days before my brain starting kicking in and decided to put up a baby gate. Nothing much here is baby proofed yet so this weekend we are going to take care of a lot of it. Anyway, I have one of those Play yards... I unfolded it and made two edges of a square with it... the other two edeges are the sectional couches. Now she has this big safe area for her to play and crawl around.
Now that she could get to the couch she decided she was going to pull up... People, I am going to have a walker on my hands very soon! She was pulling herself up all day... So this little blockade that I have is a temporary fix... But it is a good fix for now as I get to sit, even on the couch!! My butt is thanking my brain!
Emily has also discovered her Boooty! She likes to sit on her new mats and spin in circles... She also moves her little booty now when she hears music!! Her and Daddy were doing a little butt wiggle last night while waiting for dinner...
Her big first Birthday is coming up quickly... I just can't get a figure out what I want to get her... I am kind of dissapointed that we won't be in NY with all our family to celebrate... I wanted to do the whole messy house, everything is crazy thing... BUT Keith's folks will be here and I am going to invite a couple of friends over. I actually got party invitations knowing full well that nobody is going to show up but I wanted to do it anyway... I also am wondering if I should make a cake or buy one. I kind of want to buy one and have it all cute for her. Let it be known that she IS having cake and ice cream on her birthday... All these people these days saying you shouldn't be giving your kids any sugar even cake on their birthday... It isn't like I give her a cup of sugar everyday to eat... GEZ... these are probably the same people that want to call the Easter Bunny the Holiday Bunny... You know, it is sad to say but I think A LOT of these people are actually women coming up with this crap. Trying to make their place/point in the world... I think the only point they are making is that they are a bunch of Bitches with too much time on the their hands who are not happy and are trying to make everyone else miserable! But that is JMO....I hate all this crap going on now... trying to take GOD out of everything... God is every where people, deal with it... you can mask the holiday names, take the word out of our countries history but he will still be there. I feel sad for all those people because you know when they are in a dark place, a place of desperate need, the first thing they will do is say "God please help me"... I wonder if God will turn their back on them as they have done to him...
Anyway, Back to Em... So much to buy for her Birthday... Diamond earings?... Table and Chair for her room?...Toys? Which ones? Books... Videos... The list goes on...
Well, I hear a little turkey awake in her crib... guess it is time to start the day. My coffee is gone, the baby is awake, and the sun is now up... 14 more hours until downtime again! Ta-ta for now!!!
