Sleep has come!!!
So things have been much better now that she is taking her antibiotic... she has stuff coming out of her nose so maybe she did have a virus of some sort. She got her new "Lovie" that Keith and I bought her last week. It is too cute. She has been sleeping all day which is so not like her but I figure it is probably good for her so she can re-coop. Last night she was over tired and didn't want to go to bed, she would make her bottom lip quiver when I would put her down... If I wasn't so tired at the time I would have grinning at the cuteness... but since it was 12:30 I just let it quiver and turned off the light! I know I am mean but I KNOW what she wanted, she is really starting to like sleeping with me in the morning and since her whole not feeling good episode she has decided that she kind of likes being held too... I know she wanted in Mommy's bed too but I am not opening that can of worms. For a couple of hours in the morning is fine but I can't see always sleeping with her like my sister does. I don't know how she gets any sleep! When Emmy is in bed with me I am just closing my eyes and maybe drifting in and out here and there... but I don't sleep like a log or anything. Emmy on the other hand sleeps like a log and likes to cuddle. She can search me out in her sleep... I must stink or something!I feel again like a pack of wolves or something because she is on my side, Bree on the other side of her and Tucker lays beneath her... Anyway, I knew if I put her in the bed last night that I would never ever get any sleep again because she would always want to be there! I put her Blankey bear with her and she sucked on him until she calmed down and went to sleep... 6 and half hours later she awoke!!
She usually sleeps now until around 11 or 12 until around 6.... so she is finally getting this night thing in her brain! It is very nice!!!
She slept so much today that I actually got a chance to clean the house. Keith came home at lunch and said the place looked nice. It isn't like we live like slobs now or anything but when she is awake all day I try to spend some time with her when she lets me.
She is really digging her cereal too. She is such a piggy. I was going to try and feed her it 4 times a day but then I noticed the papers from the Dr's said 2-3. So I figure in the morning, and night and maybe once in the afternoon if she seems to need it. They said I could try fruit and veggies too so I gave a little bit of peach today. Of course it doesn't have any sugar and it is pretty tart because I tried it. She made the funniest face and puckered her lips together! Hehe... she ate it though of course! It says not to give them more than one F or V to try in a five day time period in case they have an allergy...I am so excited to see all her new faces!
I am starting to feel more and more confident in being able to tell what she needs or wants. She can definitely be a little drama queen. If she isn't getting what she wants she has this cry that sounds like she is so pissed off! Anyway, we seem to be able to understand eachother. She definitely understands that she can get whatever she wants from me!
When I read books to her she is starting to look at the pictures. I can read 1 maybe 2 and that is all she can sit still for. She sees the dogs now and sometimes laughs at them. Tucker is more relaxed around her. He is always wanting to smell her now. Bree is always attached to her... I think she has become Emmy's dog!
I will try to be better at this but the past week has been hard with her not feeling well, then her shots, and her trip to the hospital... I hope to write again tomorrow.... Later
