E i, E i , OH!
I think for a split second the earth might have stopped rotating on it's axis. I had Emily in her crib giving her her medication when suddenly our female cat Tasha jumps in to it to say hi.... ummm, what the hec is going on? Should I grab onto something quickly before I go blasting into outerspace????? She NEVER comes out to see anyone let alone the baby, otherwise known as the one that moves around alot and makes all the noise. The Cat does not like many people, okay, most people except Keith and I. She really doesn't care for us too much for that matter. AND she has never cared for the baby (that is putting it nice), and has always stayed as far away as possible from her. So when she jumped in the crib this morning my first thought was "Holy Jesus she is going to attack the baby", but then she just rubbed up against her and mowed to her. Emily was all happy as well smiling and laughing at her... Now I have to worry about the cat(s) getting into her crib for some snuggle time.
Another one on our belevod "farm" is Tucker. He must have accepted her into HIS "pack" as he wants to lay next to her now on the floor. She is doing her tummy time and he is laying there keeping gaurd. She was kicking the crap out of him in the eyes, face, and tummy yesterday and he just took it. Didn't move or anything. Whenever her leg got close to him he was right there licking her clean.... I still don't trust him not to get too hyper and not hurt her... she is still half the size of him so I am always next to both of them when they are bonding. Bree has loved her from the start, she is pretty good with her, Levi acts like she doesn't exist so no change there.
I woke up early this morning to find the little one sleeping on her tummy again.... she had her face smushed up against the mattress. Of course I was freaking thinking she couldn't breath. I don't think she should be sleeping on her belly yet as she can't turn over from her belly to her back. She does the opposite with no problems. She just hasn't masterd both ways yet. So of course I found the sleeping positioner thing barried at the bottom of her closet and put her in it. It was either that or sit there for the rest of the night and watch her sleep. I had never put her in it before but I think I will until she has mastered both ways of the roll over. She actually slept really good in it, she wasn't flopping around, banging her legs... was a nice change.
On the home front we are running out of time until we move. I think it is going to be alot on Emmy. The drive to NY is going to be so long, she won't be sleeping in her bed... I hope she adjust okay. I feel like I need to pack the house to take with us so she has everything she needs. At least my folks have a lot of stuff for babies, that will be a big help.
I plan on taking some more pictures of Emmy today. I haven't in a few days now. I took a couple of quick snapshots a couple of days ago but I want to do some nice ones. Guess that is all for now. Until later....
