Red Rover Red Rover
I am getting way too spoiled! Emily has gone from sleeping 5-6 hours straight to 11-12 hours now! Then after she gets her bottle and has her breakfast she enjoys laying in her playpen and lounging. She snuggles up to a blanket, looks around, drifts in and out of sleep... she does this until around 11 or so. It is a very nice relaxing morning for the both of us. I could not have asked for a better baby. The other mother on the June boards are still complaining that their babies are still getting up about every three hours! I guess Emmy just had a head start so she is sleeping better. All the JuneBug babies are putting their hand in their mouths now and biting on them... Emmy is growing right along where she should be! I am so happy for her that she is doing so well.
Yesterday I had her pictures done at Sears for the first time. They came out so nice... I actually cried when I got home because she just looks so happy and healthy. I know, I am a geek! LOL... Keith keeps making fun of me because of it but my emotions are still raw from her birth... Anyway, I must have had "Sucker" written on my forehead walking in there because I bought a crap load of pictures! How can you pick just one picture out of nine? Then they charge you 15 bucks a sheet! Holy cow! I really don't care, I knew everyone would want a picture and I had to get our close family a bunch as well. I am going to have to buy a bunch of that bubble envelope stuff and get it ready for when we pick them up. My mother is already telling me she is going to crawl out of her skin if she doesn't get them right away!
The Rolling over thing is happening slowly. She will do it then forget how she did it! I help her but that is cheating! She did it in the crib the other morning... not sure I like that! Now I have to worry about how she is sleeping...
We bought a new photo printer the other night! I love it! The pictures come out looking like they have been developed from a photo lab... now I am going to have to buy a bunch of frames!
Oh! Today is my "First" baby's birthday! Tucker is 3 years old today... Happy Birthday Tucker!! I guess I am going to have to get him something today!
Speaking of getting something... It hit me the other day that Keith and I are going to have to get A LOT more this Christmas! Duh! Emmy's first Christmas! I am so excited! I want to get her a Leap Frog thing... and that is about all that I have decided on! Gez, I need to get planning this stuff so I am not running around like a looney the last minute... I have been wanting a child to do the Christmas thing with now for a long time! Hopefully it will get Keith in the mood as well. Santa Claus, Tons of gifts, Cookie making... all these traditions that we haven't done in so long, it is going to be great!
Well, I better go and try to get something accomplished this morning while the little stinker is napping. Later...
