Busy little Bees
I am a human hive. I mean it, I am. You know how I told you that I went to the Doctor? Well, they gave me some medication and it turns out that I am allergic to it.
Just
My
Luck....
I have broke out in hives. It is pretty, really it is. It is so bad that I have them in my armpits, my scalp, on my ears, and in the corner of my eyes. I look like I have some sort of Welt disorder.
So as any person would do I went to the doctor without an appointment thinking this classified as some sort of priority. Of course I was wrong because I have to see Military doctors and nothing is a priority with them unless you have a limb torn off. I walk up the reception desk and ask to see a Doctor. She ask why.... Hmmmmm, look at my face dumbass, I have tumors growing out of my eyes..... I tell her I had an allergic reaction to medication and point to several lumps all over my body. She escorts me to a small office and another woman begins to help me. Mind you Emily is bored and is quickly turing into an escape artist devil. I am itching badly and getting very annoyed all ready. The new girl does some pounding on her keyboard and tells me I can see a doctor in 2 weeks! "Ahhhhh, I don't think you understood what I said... I had an allergic reaction to a medication, hence the bumps all over my body." She just stares at me with a dumbass look on her face. "Well, that is all we have", she states. " Well," I tell her "I guess I will just go to the emergency room at the local hospital because I need to see somebody now.... if my throat closes up before then than it's on you" She is still just looking at me in a blank stare when the a guy in the same office turns around from his desk and asked what was the matter... I tell him and he said I am a priority and need to be seen now. DUH!!
So they escort me and the devil to another office where there is an nurse in a brown uniform with shiny stuff on her collar and her hair in a tight little bun which is probably the reason for her foul mood. I give her a recap. She talks to me like I am the same age as my daughter. She was of no help... she told me not to take the medicine again... Really? Hmmm, no wonder you are such a good nurse. So, she sets me up an appointment for the next day to see my Dr. and Tells me to take benadryl... Why I bother is beyond me.....
I finally went to see a doctor and I am on 5 different medications to combat the hives. Lucky me....I love the Naval hospital, really I do.
Today I have errands to run. Oh the fun I will have going to the Dry Cleaners to get Keith's uniforms with Emily in tow.... Oh the joy it will be going to WallyWorld trying to get things with Em running everywhere because God forbid she goes in a cart. I might actually break out the leash today so I don't have to run with my cart full of goodies all over Wallyworld.
It is beautiful out here this morning...Hope to take Em out and play later. One of her favorite things to do beside have me chase her all over the kingdomcome. People wonder why I lost weight...
Well, I am sure my little turkey will be waking up soon. In about 20 minutes we will be snuggled up on the couch watching "Boos Cooos" Those of you that don't speak 2 year old, that's Blue's Clues. Another morning of watching the Dumb ass needing his Dog to tell him how to get through life... But the snuggling is so worth it. Her little arms wrapped around me, little pecks from time to time, and banana smeared all over my PJ's.... Worth every minute of the dumb ass...
Tata people... And to Kari and Ian, have an awesome time in Mexico, I am jealous!!
