Lack Of
Okay people, where is the love? What is going on? I know you are out there in cyberspace reading my Blog but I have had HUGE decline in the comments. And yes, I am that vain that I need to know people are reading and what they are thinking. I got to thinking about this because Christie was talking about it on her Blog. Am I that boring these days? Does it upset you that I think there is a creature living in my back yard? What is it? Please tell me! I KNOW there are people out there reading. All of my family does. My Mother and Father do everyday.... My sister reads, Keith, my Sister-in-Law, and I think even my Brother-in-law does when he is extremely bored out of his mind.... Kari is the ONLY one that leaves a trail letting me know she is out there reading. HELLO people, family of mine.... I wrote this Blog so that you could be updated on Emily and whether or not I have gone of the deep end yet.... LEAVE A COMMENT!!
Now there are others, hold on and let me think. Elaine reads everyday.... I know you can spare 5 minutes of your time there at BUSY Cherry Point! Geshhhh.... LOL
Sarah, whom is a friend of mine that I met at Emily's playgroup reads as well.... She is just learning how crazy I am and might be too scared to leave something as we live really close. Sarah, don't worry, I know I a crazy!
And then there is God Damn Andy from NY, Hehe.... I KNOW you are reading this because some little Birdy told me you said I have a God Damn Potty mouth! Hmmm, I wonder why? Maybe just maybe I learned how to talk like the guys I grew up.... I WONDER who that would be? OR maybe too that I have lived with a Marine for the past 11 years? Hmmmm.... MAYBE Andy you could leave a damn comment and let me know what you think of my potty mouth! LOL
Ahhhh, this is fun..... I think Terry reads this once in a great while, Hmmm, I have known you since the 6th grade.... Friggin leave a comment! (See you in two weeks!)
Okay, that was kind of a short list but damn people.... I have no life so after I hit the refresh button about 100 times in a row it would be nice to see that somebody had something to say about what I wrote.... Is that too much to ask? Geshhhhhh......
Speaking of Lack of.... Let's talk about Em's speaking since that seems to be a hot topic among my family. And no, she has yet to say the F word. She actually has yet to say much at all, that is the problem. She took a few steps back once Keith left and went from about 5 words to nothing. She still calls me Ma... (she refuses to call me Mama or Mommy) and everything else is now titled as Dada. Doesn't matter if it is a shoe or a cup... It is really Dada. It is so frustrating. She will shake her head no when you tell her what something is and she will say Dada. When we went to the Doctor for her Well Baby appointment the Doctor said she would have to go to Speech Therapy if she does not improve once we get back from NY. We are hoping that while she is there that she will pick up more from her cousins. Also since we are both sort of secluded living in our own little world she lacks in hearing adult conversation and is therefore not copying what she would normally hear. And Yes, I do read to her, I talk to her, I talk "with" her but that is limited conversation. She needs to hear adults talking to eachother as well as her peers for her to get more into it. So, we will wait and see what happens.
So, in two weeks Em and I are going back to NY. I am so excited that we are actually going to be around people... family. Things I am going to have to get used to while being in NY... Talking, Eating again, Having Help, Noise, Being Spoiled, Cold, Snow, Big Malls, Things to do, Being around Family.... All good things to get used to again!
Well, I guess I should be a good mother and take care of the Turkey. Later People....
